I have been meaning to let you know that going off the dairy and wheat and yeast has had spectacular results in the tummy department. That wind and pain from wind has dropped away so much!! I am taking another course of the good bacteria and it all seems to have helped greatly. I still get a bit of trouble at times but I think it is when I have a couple of soy coffees over the weekend.

So thank you so much for getting me to the bottom of my problems!! (sorry for pun). I’m also not as tired as I was!!!

On October 1, 2008, I visited the doctor with a sore knee. After a check up, I was told by my doctor I had type 2 diabetes. Not knowing a great deal about diabetes, I was shocked. My doctor said it wasn’t at serious levels, but I did need to do something about it - through diet and exercise.
All this was an eye opener for me - at 62 years old and just under six feet tall, I was 145 kilos. Being a big boy, the last exercise I ever did in earnest was swimming competitively when I was in my twenties.
At first exercising was hard. But with my blood pressure under control and reducing weight, it gets easier with every week. I walk about 5 kms a day and up to 12 kms in the weekends - if time and weather permits. I’m now looking forward to my getting back into the pool.
In five months I have dropped 37 kilos, and I’m still losing weight. I attribute this success to willpower, and support, from the family and Luud from Gloriosa.
Low glycaemic index recipes have been of great assistance.
I can proudly say my blood sugar readings are now well within the healthy range. I haven’t missed big meals or sweet foods at all! My visits to the supermarket may now take twice as long but reading the nutrition information on products makes me realise how much sugar and fat there is in processed food.
A real boost was when I visited my doctor in early February - he didn’t even recognise me in the waiting room. And my knee is better too!

it is a neat, flat box that fits in any size handbag I think, even in a small one it would not be noticeable

the name USANA on the outside is not disturbing, and it makes it easy to differentiate between the top and the bottom

and when you open one compartment, the others ones stay closed so not all other tablets fall out

it makes you want to have more of these lovely boxes, for your ear rings, or other small items you feel you may need while on the road

The Nutrimeal has helped tremendously and Troy really has put on weight. He is still using the sachets but not every day.

I really liked the Nutrimeal Strawberry flavour (tastes great even when mixed with water) & did find them useful for between Tech or even when I come home after work. Really helps to not snack on the wrong foods before dinner.

Cooking at the flat has definitely improved. We all agreed on trying to eat healthier & we have used the meal starter flyer that I got from you to plan meals for the week.

I started taking the Essentials supplements in March 2007 when my husband and I decided to start a family. About 3 weeks after I started taking the supplements I noticed an increase in energy and felt really good. I was incredibly healthy though out my pregnancy and felt fantastic with so much energy. I managed to avoid every cold or bug that was going around and I had several blood tests during my pregnancy, all of which showed a very healthy iron level. After the birth of my daughter via C-section a further blood test was done before I was allowed to go home after two days in hospital, to check that my haemoglobin levels weren’t too low, on the contrary the doctors were surprised at how high they were. I recovered remarkably well and still had plenty of energy in those early weeks with a new born. I have no doubt that the Essentials played a huge part in how healthy I was.

Knee is steadily improving and have been doing specific exercises to strengthen it which has helped enormously along with the procosamine. It no longer aches! Hurray!

I have settled on 2 tablets per day as the 4 were just too powerful !!!!!

To say I was skeptical about taking USANA products is an understatement. As my daughter raved to me about their benefit, my reaction was that she was being manipulated by excellent marketing.
Then she asked me to try RESET. It was the perfect time. I had just found out that my cholesterol was high, I was not a candidate for Staten drugs, and I had to loose weight. I cannot count the number of times in my life have a started a new eating program. I still doubted anything would work, but I owed it to myself and my daughter to make the attempt. Before I finished RESET, I signed on as an associate.
For the first time in my life I found an eating program I could stay on as I was not hungry. As I left RESET and moved on to Phase 1, I knew I needed the structure so I did not eat too many calories for dinner. So I converted the USANA products to Weight Watcher points and stayed within the desired daily point count. I am now down over 25 lbs and feel confident I can continue.

Despite losing the 25lbs, my arthritic knees continued to bother me.

The Glucosomine and Chrondroitin helped, but I still experience pain climbing stairs. My daughter said that Proflavanol and Procosa helped her friends with similar pain, so I decided to try it. (I've gotten much less resistant) Within a couple of days, I noticed the difference: decreased pain climbing stairs. Yesterday I worked in the garden most of the day. This always would result in pain the next day. Today there is no pain, not even when climbing the stairs to my office. This is truly a miracle for me. I am looking forward walking all over Portugal with no need of pain pills.
